The Port & Logistics Lab and its enterprise partners are working together to digitize Tacoma Ports and drive the consumption of industry 4.0-related technologies to address their enterprise challenges.
Our reference platform, KEEN (Khasm Enterprise Edge Network), is a private 5G SA (stand alone) network, paired with edge computing capabilities code-named BlueBerry, will help support and test the adoption of many of the Lab’s startup’s technologies and solutions at the port; including hi-res cameras and computer vision capabilities, ship-to-shore private connectivity and asset tracking, connected workers, connected vehicles and autonomous systems, IoT-sensor based technology and Edge computing.
